Barrow Creek

By the time we reached Barrow Creek we had a solid feel for just how vast and big this beautiful country of ours really is.  The early pioneers of this country clearly were made of the right stuff to be able to traverse this harsh country.  The old telegraph station was the highlight in Barrow Creek and being that it is free and open to the public, it’s well worth it.  The postcard like countryside surrounding the homestead is magical.  These buildings were built to stand the test of time and you can’t help but seriously admire the early settlers that helped shape this country into what it is today.  The inside of the telegraph station was treat, unfortunately our camera was flat by then or we would have been able to share some pics.
